June 2010 two dentists are granted and injunction by the High Court preventing the HSE from changing the Free Dental Care Rules.
July 2010 HSE challenged the June decision but the Supreme Court upholds the injunction given to the two dentists. The case is at injunction stage only and is set for a full hearing for around December 2010.
August 2010 in a similar application by 56 other dentists, the High Court refuses to grant the dentists an injunction to prevent the HSE from altering their contracts.
