John G. Murphy commenced working for John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors in 1980 and progressed to Principal in 1992. His vision for this renowned firm of solicitors was to progress the company to a level of providing a full range of legal services to meet the demands of a dynamic market, whilst remaining true to the company core values of providing practical solutions for people based on their individual situations and stories.
John is known as a good ‘story teller’, a method he uses to explain complex situations to his clients. It is his ability to relate to people, their individual circumstances and to foresee outcomes that is integral to the success of this long established company. John determines the ethos of the company in this way and others are enthused by it and so follow his example.
This 'ease of communication' has led to John being regularly invited as a contributor to national and regional radio shows and he carrys out a monthly legal slot on South East Radio.
He is a Solicitor for over 25 years and is regarded as a leading practitioner, particularly in Dublin and the Southeast. His cases include commercial matters, farm and residential transactions, probate, commercial and personal litigation and employment law. His extensive client base includes private, business, corporation and State sectors. He handles family, arbitration, insurance, labour and criminal law.
He is a member of the legal panels for Criminal Legal Aid, Family Civil Legal Aid and Mental Health Commission.
